AASB Association of Alaska School Boards AAYN Advocates for Alaska’s Youth Network AFCCC Alaska Faith Communities Concerned for Children AIAY Assets for Interior Alaskan Youth Assets Forty qualities, youth need to succeed. They are divided into internal assets and external assets Assets Champion A person within a community who has shown enthusiasm for, and commitment to, community engagement and Asset Building. Generally this person has participated in some or all of the trainings and events offered by ICE staff External Assets Half of the forty assets are external assets. These include such things as family support, a community that values youth, adult role models or youth programs ICE Initiative for Community Engagement (as in Alaska ICE) Internal Assets Half of the forty assets are internal assets. These include such things as achievement motivation, honesty, interpersonal skills or positive view of personal future Kids These Days! Radio Show A pilot series of radio call-in shows airing once per month as part of the APRN Talk of Alaska program.
