The Alaska Association for Bilingual Education (AKABE) is proud to announce the 2012 statewide Digital Storytelling Contest for Bilingual Students. This is an essay program where students will have the opportunity to submit digital compositions on the topic LOCAL HERO.  AKABE will award the first place winner(s) with receive or split a cash prize.  Second and third prize winners will receive Certificates of Award.  All winners will be introduced at our annual awards luncheon, April 27, 2011, in Anchorage.
